In 1959, Fred and Marie Lafontaine opened one of Ontario's first nursing homes on the banks of the Rouge River in Pickering, Ontario. Their cozy residence was among the first in Ontario to be approved by the Ministry of Health for provision of long term care for seniors.

Over the years, we have continued to experience steady, controlled growth, earning a reputation as one of Ontario's finest managers of nursing and retirement homes.
